Winter Leadership Retreat

Held every year around December or January at a local retreat center, the Winter Leadership Retreat brings together students from across campus to explore leadership in depth and build a community of student leaders.

Stay tuned for more information about the 2017-2018 Winter Leadership Rereat!

Center for Leadership and Service typically selects around 50 students from all different leadership paths from experienced student leaders to those who may not even see themselves as a leader yet. With fresh themes picked every year, students will go through extensive leadership training over a span of day and a half. Some of the activities in the past included group discussions, self-journaling, and story telling to name a few. We strongly encourage you to apply if you're looking for an in-depth professional development opportunity.

Theme

“Courageous Connections: Daring to be Different”

Our hope is for you to start to understand your history before joining the retreat. As part of the application process, we want you to reflect and answer the following question

1. Why do you want to participate in this retreat and how will it impact your goals as a person?
2. Tell us about a situation when you went outside of your comfort zone and took a risk. Explain how this made you feel, and what was the outcome?
