Get Involved
Being a college student can mean more than going to class and doing your homework. Participating in programs and activities outside of class helps you develop skills for your future, feel more connected, and enjoy your college experience. Involved students are also more likely to stick around and complete their degree. Highline is a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive community and offers many outstanding opportunities to get involved in leadership programs.
Our staff would be happy to support you as you explore your leadership goals. Stop by our office on the 3rd floor of Building 8 to connect with us!
Here are a few ideas to get you started on getting involved at Highline:
- Participate in an Associated Students of Highline College (ASHC) student government council meeting, held every other Wednesday from 1:00–2:00 p.m. in Mt. Skokomish in Building 8 starting the second week of each quarter.
- Join or start a student-run club. Check out the Clubs Directory to see what clubs are currently active at Highline.
- Connect across cultures with our Global Student Ambassadors.
- Participate in campus activities
- Contact our staff from the Center for Leadership & Service and Center for Cultural & Inclusive Excellence to learn more about how to get involved.
