January 24, 2023 – Vietnamese Club Hosts Lunar New Year Festival

"We held Lunar New Year celebrations to share Vietnamese culture with our international friends. The event exceeded our expectations, with a large number of people attending. Everyone who participates will be able to take pictures right away, there was a photo booth decorated with traditional Tet items, a game area where everyone can play and receive gifts, and a Vietnamese food area. We were overjoyed to be able to share our motherland's culture with so many people." -Vietnamese Club

January 13-16, 2022 – Cru Conference

"8 students and 3 faculty attended the Winter Conference in Orange, CA. We spent four days listening to a range of speakers discuss what it looks like to follow Jesus as a college student today. We learned more about having respectful conversations about spirituality and had opportunities to practice in the community. We were also given time to build connection with one another and students from other Seattle area schools. Every staff member we spoke with was impressed over Highline's presence at the conference. We left with stronger relationships and a desire to be a blessing on our campus." -Cru
