To join a club, you may attend a scheduled club meeting, or you can email the club officers directly to ask questions. Highline College recognized clubs have been approved by the Associated Students of Highline College and are supported by the Center for Leadership and Service.

Club Mission Statement: Afghan Club’s mission is to promote awareness and appreciation of Afghan culture through interactive events, performances, and workshops, create a supportive community for Afghan students to share experiences, stories, and ideas, and encourage cross-culture understanding by collaborating with other culture clubs and organizations.

Club Mission Statement: ASL Club is where students can get together and use or learn sign language to communicate with deaf and hard of hearing students who use American Sign language. Also, students are not required to take ASL classes, but are encouraged to take ASL classes while here at Highline College. ASL Club is for students communicating and learning sign language, playing games, practicing your signing skills, and many other activities in as well.

Club Mission Statement: The Black Scholars Club under the Umoja program is dedicated to fostering academic excellence, cultural pride, and personal empowerment among Black students. Our mission is to create a supportive community that celebrates the richness of Black heritage, cultivates leadership skills, and promotes intellectual growth. We are committed to uplifting one another, breaking barriers, and positively impacting our communities, all while staying grounded in the values of Umoja- unity, solidarity, and collective strength.

Club Mission Statement: The club’s primary purpose is participating in investment, tax and related networking events for the purpose of better establishing our trajectories towards secure, well-paying jobs in industries of our interests. Club Mission Statement: Our mission is to provide a safe space and a place to connect people through Drama (the acting kind.) We will be holding improv workshops, playing games, watching musicals or theatre plays (either in an actual theatre or just through a screen), engaging in private and or public performances, connecting students to gigs, networking, and simply having a good time together.

Club Mission Statement: The Royal Society Drag Club is a place for students to learn about self expression in a unique and glamorous way! We will perform drag, watch drag, and learn about drag. Drag has been a long standing form of art and creativity that the queer community has crafted and cultivated to stretch the bounds of gender expression. We are a welcoming and inclusive group of anyone no matter your identity! All forms of drag are welcome, whether it’s singing, dancing, comedy, pageant, or any other type of performance!
