Club Resources
Our office offers a variety of resources and support to help student clubs succeed at Highline College. The following are resources that our student leaders can utilize once they have officially become a recognized club on campus.
Clubs Handbook
Club leaders and faculty/staff advisors should carefully review the Clubs Handbook for club policies and procedures.
Clubs Consultants
Our Clubs Consultants are here to help you with any and all club related needs, such as joining or creating a club, recognition and certification training, reserving meeting and event space, using supplies, updates to club information, and more! Contact our Clubs Consultants for all of your club related questions at clubteam@highline.edu
Clubs Program Leadership Advisor
Our Clubs Program Leadership Advisor, Cassie, manages the Highline College clubs program and works closely with our Clubs Consultants. Part of her job includes processing clubs’ requests for funding, travel, and event space, facilitating club advisor training, and organizing quarterly Clubs Fairs. Advertising
MOD Team provides FREE advertising design work for display on:
- SCALA screens (plasma screen)
- campus wide bulletin boards
- posters, flyers, banners
- social media
- sandwich boards
To request design work, please fill a MOD Request Form after filling out an Activities Action Form.
Highline Facilities
Please submit an Activities Action Form to reserve:
- classrooms
- event spaces
- special request rooms
Supplies
Our office suite in the Highline Student Union (Building 8, Room 310) provides materials for clubs including:
- art supplies
- markers, paint, glue, scissors, and other office supplies
- decorations & costumes
- board and card games
- computers, Smart TVs, microphones, and sound systems

Funding
If your club needs funding, where you get the funding depends on what you need.
Clubs Budget is for funding:
- Materials and supplies
- Food and catering
- Contract services (paying someone external to Highline College)
Apply for Clubs Budget funding by filling out an Activities Action Form. Clubs Budget applications get processed by the Clubs Program Leadership Advisor. Funding is not guaranteed, and purchases made without approval will not be reimbursed. The 2022-2023 Clubs Budget is very low this year, so please only submit requests for essentials.
ASHC Contingency Fund is for funding:
- Travel
- Registrations (for conferences, competitions, etc.)
- Tickets (for events, museums, movies, etc.)
Apply for Contingency Request funding by filling out an ASHC Contingency Request form and email it to ashc@highline.edu ASHC Contingency Fund requests get voted on by the Associated Students of Highline College. Please have a representative present at the ASHC meeting at which your funding request gets voted on. Funding is not guaranteed, and purchases made without approval will not be reimbursed.
