Student Legacy Awards 2020

The Highline College Student Legacy Awards is an annual campus celebration to applaud student contributions for both academic achievement and campus involvement.

The 2020 Student Legacy Awards was presented in a virtual format in several videos. Below we have listed each video and the award winners being recognized in the video. You can also view all the videos in a playlist below and on YouTube. And the winners are listed in the program, and a printed version of the program was sent to all award recipients.

Video 1: Introductions

Our Chancellor of Cheers, Grayce Ross, introduces this year’s Student Legacy Awards, along with welcome messages from President Dr. John Mosby and Aaron Reader, Vice President of Student Services.

Video 2: Legacy Scholar Awards, part 1

In this segment, we present the Legacy Scholar Awards for:

  • Communication Studies: Zoe Williams
  • Computer Science: Julian Burrington and Jaykant Hirpara

Video 9: Final Awards

In this segment, we recognize the Student Leaders of the Month from throughout the academic year and present the CLS and CCIE Student of the Year to Sreynin (Lyn) Sam and the Student Employee of the Year to Grayce Ross, followed by closing remarks from Iesha Valencia, Associate Dean for Student Life.
