ThunderWeek

Each quarter, the Center for Leadership & Service and the Center for Cultural & Inclusive Excellence welcome all Highline students to campus with a week of programs called ThunderWeek.

During ThunderWeek, connect with other students, learn about ways you can get involved on campus, and celebrate being a Highline student.

All events during ThunderWeek are free and available to all students!

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the most reflective leader of them all? Come and learn more about the practice of reflection! In this workshop as part of the CONNECT Program, Maia, Soul Purpose Coach, will be facilitating a conversation on why reflection is a prerequisite to your success and happiness, how reflection is an act of leadership, and how we fully integrate ourselves in these reflections. To help you get to know campus, we have organized the Thunder Hunt, a scavenger hunt going on throughout ThunderWeek. Follow the clues to find five spots on campus, take a photo at each spot, submit your photos, then pick up a prize at the Center (3rd floor of Building 8). The clues are available on the submission form.
